HR Solutions Russia announces an opening for the full time position of Chief Investment Officer
Position Summary:
-Organizes and manages the fund of direct investment within parent financial holding;
-Identifies investment opportunities in biotech, health care and drug development sectors worldwide;
-Effectively manages the portfolio after the selection and execution of investments
Responsibilities:
1. Organizes the fund of direct investment within parent financial holding
2. Selects the fund’s professional team
3. Provides the fund’s with effective team and portfolio management
4. Identifies, investigates, and analyzes possible investment opportunities in biotech, health care and drug development sectors
5. Monitors markets and organizations with potential acquisition, merger interest or investment potential
6. Evaluates projects through financial feasibility studies, market research and planning
7. Ensures the maximum use of funds by investing in short-term and long-term projects
8. Serves as key contact with lawyers, investment bankers, and other relevant individuals and organizations in investment project realization, acquisition, and disposal situations
9. Renders decisions over investment projects’ adjustment, which are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors of parent financial holding
10. Provides the Board of Directors of parent financial holding with investment projects reports
11. Exercises administrative control over all phases of the fund’s operations, directly or through subordinates.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Age: Up to 40
Sex: Male / Female
Education: Higher education with major in Medicine, Pharmacy or Biology
Education level required: Masters
Additional: MBA or specialized business / investment courses
Previous experience: Investment companies, direct investment funds with specialization on biotech, drug development and health care investments
Experience (in years): 5 to 7 Years
PC: Advanced user
Language: Fluency in Russian and English
Personality: Pro-active and solid achiever with good communication and presentation skills and self-confidence.
Yearly Salary: 200 000 USD
